RIA Design Studio is a contemporary African design practice working between Lagos and New York. Through furniture and collectible objects, the studio explores identity, material culture, and the built environment. Each work begins with an architectural approach to structure, proportion, and material, while drawing from place, memory, and contemporary African experience. Founded by architect and designer Tobi Onafeko, RIA develops objects as part of an evolving body of work rather than a conventional furniture collection.
