Shipping & Delivery

RIA Design Studio ships furniture and collectible objects from New York and, where applicable, directly from production partners.

Lead times and delivery methods vary by piece. Product-specific availability and lead times shown on the individual product page take precedence over the general guidance below.

Available Works

Pieces listed as Available Now are already produced and ready for dispatch.

Orders are typically prepared for shipment within 5–10 business days, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

For selected works available in New York, local delivery or collection may be arranged directly with the studio.

Made-to-Order Works

Made-to-order pieces enter production once the order is confirmed.

Typical production lead times are 10–12 weeks, although this may vary depending on the object, finish, material availability, and production schedule.

Any significant change to the estimated lead time will be communicated directly.

Custom and Project Orders

Custom finishes, project quantities, and commissioned work may require additional production time.

Timing, delivery, and installation requirements for these orders will be confirmed as part of the quotation process.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

• destination
• size and weight
• packaging or crating requirements
• delivery method
• insurance requirements

Where a shipping rate can be calculated automatically, it will appear at checkout.

For larger works, international orders, or deliveries requiring freight or white-glove service, RIA Design Studio may provide a separate shipping quotation.

Domestic Delivery

We ship throughout the United States.

Depending on the piece, orders may be sent by parcel carrier, furniture freight, or specialist delivery service.

Furniture cannot generally be shipped to P.O. Boxes. Please provide a valid residential or commercial delivery address.

International Shipping

International shipping is available for selected works.

International delivery is quoted individually based on destination, crating, insurance, and freight requirements.

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or local charges applied by the destination country unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Tracking

Tracking information will be provided when available.

For freight, white-glove, or specialist deliveries, the carrier may contact you directly to coordinate delivery.

Receiving Your Order

Please inspect all deliveries upon arrival.

For freight or crated shipments, note any visible damage to the packaging before accepting the delivery where possible.

Photographs of both the packaging and the work should be taken immediately if damage is suspected.

Damage in Transit

If your order arrives damaged, contact us as soon as possible at:

Please include:

• order number
• photographs of the packaging
• photographs of the damaged area
• a brief description of the issue

We will review the shipment and coordinate the appropriate next steps with you and the carrier.

Address Changes

Please contact the studio immediately if you need to change your delivery address.

Once an order has entered fulfillment or has been collected by a carrier, we cannot guarantee that the delivery address can be changed.
